Terms of Service
Last Updated: October 24, 2026
Welcome to the website of Centerline Rodding & Drain ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website located at https://centralrodding.link and any phone-initiated drain cleaning, sewer rodding, hydro jetting, or camera inspection services requested by calling (321) 559-0657.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website or requesting service via telephone, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, legally authorized to authorize repairs on the subject real property, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use this site or request services.
2. Scope of Services & Site Information
Our website provides informational content regarding residential and commercial drain cleaning, mechanical power rodding, high-pressure water jetting, and optical sewer camera scoping in Evanston and surrounding northern Illinois municipalities. Informational guides, cost factors, and municipal pipe descriptions are provided for general educational purposes. Actual service pricing, diagnostic recommendations, and scopes of work are confirmed on-site following physical evaluation of your sewer cleanout and lateral conditions.
3. Service Authorization & Access Requirements
To perform sewer rodding, jetting, or camera inspection work safely:
- Authorized Person on Premises: An adult property owner or designated authorized agent must be present during technician arrival to review findings and authorize work.
- Safe Cleanout Access: The property owner must provide safe, unobstructed access to the main sewer cleanout, floor drain, or fixture access point. If cleanouts are buried beneath finished flooring, concrete, or landscape mulch, additional excavation or exploratory labor may be required.
- Pre-Existing Pipe Conditions: Many homes in Evanston, Wilmette, and the North Shore feature century-old vitrified clay tile laterals that may already suffer from pre-existing structural fractures, shear offsets, or partial collapses. Mechanical rodding cuts tree roots and opens clogs, but does not repair broken or collapsed clay pipe walls.
4. Workmanship Warranties & Limitations
Workmanship warranties on mechanical rodding and drain cleaning services vary depending on the pipe material, structural lateral condition, and root intrusion severity revealed during video camera inspection. Any warranty provided is stated clearly in writing on your signed work order. Tree root intrusion is an ongoing biological process; rodding cuts existing roots but cannot prevent surrounding root systems from naturally re-entering unsealed joints over time.
5. Intellectual Property
All website text, research briefs, diagnostic checklists, layout designs, logos, and graphics published on https://centralrodding.link are the intellectual property of Centerline Rodding & Drain and protected by United States copyright laws. Unauthorized reproduction, scraping, or republication of our unique content is strictly prohibited.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Illinois law, Centerline Rodding & Drain shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from municipal sewer street main surcharges, severe weather flooding, or failure of homeowner sewer pipes due to pre-existing structural decay or improper previous plumbing installations.
7. Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising from our services or website shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.
